Hanfris10

The Hanfris Quartet has spent ten years on stage, and we’re celebrating with a party of songs for every taste: to relax and travel back in time, or to sing and dance on the sofa as if you’d spent two years indoors because of a global pandemic. The whole repertoire, as usual, passed through the barbershop sieve.

So all that’s left is for you to pop your head into the barbershop and tune up your voice, because the party has only just begun. Here’s to ten more years!

Make ’Em Laugh
La Rumba de Barcelona
Fuga en re menor de J. S. Bach

Producciones Silvestres, 2017

On Air

With this album we invite you to close your eyes and let the sound of an old radio take you to the roots of New Orleans blues, to a Broadway musical, to a punk gig on San Francisco Bay and, who knows, afterwards to a good rumba in a square in Barcelona’s Vila de Gràcia. All of it wrapped in the warm sound of a barbershop quartet. Ladies and gentlemen, stay tuned, because The Hanfris Quartet is ON AIR!

InterRail

The train doors close: The Hanfris Quartet’s journey begins.

It all started in November 2009, when four young Catalan musicians set off on a journey with no fixed route, but with the dream of singing on stages all over the world. For four years we worked very hard to stay on a route we hope never ends. Now we’ve come home to turn this album into a collection of the experiences we’ve had so far. We hope you enjoy the journey with us. Next stop…
